Curve Ball

In life, sometimes you get a 'curve ball' thrown at you...you can swing at it and just look like an idiot. I remember well how Katie could throw a curve ball in a softball game and the batter would swing so hard and look so silly as the ball landed in the strike zone. Well...just when you think you are going to hit that single or double or maybe even a home run...the pitch is a curve ball and you just strike out. That's life...I hate to sound negative or complaining...but I really don't like curve balls and I really don't like trials and tribulations. "Hey God, can we please take that scripture out that says 'count it all joy for your tribulations'...cause I don't like them. Oh, I understand that it will make a person stronger and there are lessons to be learned, but, OK, I have learned a lots of lessons already in life...can I quit "life school" and just have a semester off? Don't guess that is reality. I am a thankful person overall and have so many blessings, which I am daily thankful for. So, OK, no more curve balls for a while?!!
